Day 1
Guests to be collected in Port Elizabeth at 08h30 and continue along the N2 to the Tsitsikamma Area. We stop at the Paul Sauer/Storms River Bridge which was opened in 1956 and was designed by Richardo Morandi, of Rome. This is a single cantilever bridge, 186m long and stands 120m above the waters of the Storms River. Here guests can take a walk across the bridge.
The tour then continues to the Tsitsikamma Indigenous Forest where we visit the Big Tree, an 800-year old yellowwood tree as well as the fallen tree, also indigenous to South Africa.
We then proceed to the Tsitsikamma National Park where guests have about an hour and a half to walk around the park, which has breath-taking views of the sea breaking against the rocks. We then continue to “Birds of Eden”, which is the biggest free flight aviary in the World, with approximately 1 800 birds in the sanctuary. Lunch can be enjoyed at Birds of Eden.
The tour then proceeds to Knysna where we visit the viewpoints before continuing to the Knysna Waterfront where guests will board a ferry for the late afternoon cruise. Weather permitting, the cruise will take guests as close to the Knysna Heads as possible before returning to the waterfront.

Day 2
Depart Knysna at 08h15 and continue along the scenic N2 to George, bypassing Sedgefield and Wilderness. We continue over the Outeniqua Mountain Pass to Oudtshoorn where we visit Safari Ostrich Farm, for a guided tour of the farm.
The tour then proceeds to the world famous Cango Caves
, one of the 23 cave systems known to be in the Swartberg Mountains. Here guests can enjoy a guided tour of the caves. After the tour we then proceed to Wilgewandel Restaurant for lunch.
After lunch we proceed to the Cango Wild Life Ranch , where guests can enjoy a guided tour of the ranch and the Valley of Ancients. An experience not to be missed!
The tour proceeds to George where guests will book in at their accommodation for the night.
Day 3
Depart George at 08h30 and continue to Mosselbay where we visit the Maritime Museum, which houses the replica of the Bartholomew Dias Ship, which landed in Mosselbay in 1488. We then proceed to the Post Office Tree, which was used in the 1500’s by passing ships, as a mail collection point. Letters were collected from an old boot, which hung in the tree. Today, you will find a post box in the shape of a boot, where you can post your letter. A special franking mark, in the shape of a boot, is stamped on any mail posted in this box.
The tour then proceeds to the historical little town of Swellendam where we stop for lunch and a visit to the Drostdy Museum Complex before continuing to Hermanus.
On reaching Hermanus, guests will be taken on a short orientation tour of the town before booking in at their accommodation.
Day 4
Guests will have the morning to enjoy the cliff paths and do some land-based whale watching (if the tour takes place between June and the end of October). An early lunch can be enjoyed at one of the local restaurants.
After lunch the tour proceeds along the scenic R44 to Cape Town.
Guests will then be dropped off at the Airport or their accommodation in Cape Town.
